A Trip To Kandy

             My Interesting Trip To Kandy 

I got a letter from Ishara to see the kandy perahera.she is very kind friend in mn class.she lives in kandy.It  is a religious festival in sri lanka.It is a interesting festival in our ccountry.The kandy Esala perahera also known as the festival of the tooth is a festival held in july and Agust in kandy.

           After that my father ,mother ,my brother and i went to kandy.we went by train.on our way we saw mountains,waterfalls,tunnels and tea estates.It is a very interesting trip in my life.

     

Kandy perahera was very beautiful and colourful.There were so many people but many foreigners in this.The whipcrackers led the perahera.There were drummers,flag bearers,kandian dancers,nilame and elephants.The maligawa elephant came with the casket on it's back.The kandyan dancer and the maligawa elephant were colourful.It is an important event that I will never froget in my life.
